(company registration No. / IČO 53 282 159), with its registered office at Považská 309/40, 831 03 Bratislava, Slovak Republic (“Streamea,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, shares, and protects personal data when you use the Streamea platform and related websites and services (the “Service”).
Streamea is the data controller for the personal data described here, except where we act as a processor on behalf of a business customer. We process personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“GDPR”) and applicable Slovak data-protection law.

- Privacy contact: privacy@streamea.io
2. The data we collect
2.1 Account & sign-in data (including Google Sign-In)
When you create an account or sign in using Google OAuth, we receive from Google the basic profile information you authorize: your name, email address, profile picture (where provided), preferred language, and your Google account identifier. We request only the minimum scopes needed to authenticate you and create and manage your account.
2.2 Information collected automatically
When you use the Service we collect technical and usage data such as IP address, device and browser type, pages and features used, timestamps, and diagnostic logs. We use strictly necessary cookies (and, with your consent, analytics cookies) as described in Section 5.
2.3 Business information processed by the platform
Streamea is a business-intelligence and company-data platform. To provide the Service we aggregate and process information about companies and organizations obtained from public registries (e.g. official commercial and financial registers), publicly accessible web sources, and licensed third-party providers. This may include limited business contact information about individuals acting in their professional capacity (for example, a company representative’s name, business role, or public professional profile). Where such information constitutes personal data, we process it on the legal bases set out in Section 4, and the data subjects’ rights in Sections 10–11 apply.
3. Google user data
Streamea’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
In particular, data obtained from Google is used only to provide and improve the Service, and we do not:
- sell Google user data, or transfer it to third parties except as needed to provide the Service, for security or legal reasons, or with your consent;
- use Google user data for advertising; or
- allow humans to read Google user data unless you consent, it is necessary for security or to comply with law, or the data is aggregated/anonymized.
4. Why we use your data and our legal bases
- To provide the Service — create and manage your account, authenticate you, deliver platform features. (Performance of a contract — Art. 6(1)(b).)
- To operate, secure, and improve the Service — diagnostics, abuse prevention, analytics, product development. (Legitimate interests — Art. 6(1)(f).)
- To aggregate business/company data for the platform’s intelligence features. (Legitimate interests in providing B2B information services — Art. 6(1)(f), balanced against data-subject rights.)
- To communicate with you about the Service and respond to requests. (Contract / legitimate interests; consent for marketing where required.)
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms. (Legal obligation — Art. 6(1)(c); legitimate interests.)
5. Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies that are strictly necessary to operate the Service (e.g. session and security cookies) and, where you consent, cookies that help us understand usage. You can control non-essential cookies through your browser settings or any cookie banner we provide.
6. How we share data
We do not sell your personal data. We share personal data only with:
- Service providers (sub-processors) who process data on our behalf under contract — for example cloud hosting, infrastructure, and analytics providers — bound to confidentiality and security obligations;
- Authorities or other parties where required to comply with law, enforce our agreements, or protect rights, property, or safety; and
- A successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.
7. International transfers
We aim to process personal data within the European Economic Area (EEA). Where data is transferred outside the EEA (for example by a sub-processor), we rely on appropriate safeguards such as European Commission adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses.
8. Data retention
We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, to provide the Service, and to meet legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. Account data is retained for the life of your account and deleted or anonymized within a reasonable period after closure, unless a longer retention period is required by law. If you write to us about the closed beta and do not join it, we delete your message within 12 months.
9. Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse, including access controls and encryption in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data;
- request erasure (“right to be forgotten”);
- restrict or object to certain processing, including processing based on legitimate interests and direct marketing;
- request data portability;
- withdraw consent at any time, without affecting prior processing; and
- lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — in Slovakia, the Úrad na ochranu osobných údajov Slovenskej republiky (dataprotection.gov.sk).
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@streamea.io. We respond within the timeframes required by the GDPR.
11. Individuals in business records
If you are an individual whose professional/business contact information appears in our company-data platform and you wish to access, correct, object to, or request deletion of that information, please contact privacy@streamea.io. We will handle your request in accordance with the GDPR, including your right to object to processing carried out on the basis of legitimate interests.
12. Children
The Service is intended for business use and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from individuals under 16.
13. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here and revise the “Last updated” date; material changes may be notified through the Service.
